John 2: The Not So Convenient Jesus

This week, we move on to the first two stories John tell’s about Jesus in John 2. For religious types who like things to be fall into their convenient structures, Jesus isn’t so convenient in these stories. We see him conjuring up some fine wine at a wedding, and then tearing apart the courtyards of the temple. Depending on the flavor of your religion, either of these might cause you a little stir.
This Sunday, we’ll talk through these stories together. Take some time to read over John 2 this week, and come with your thoughts and questions.
