This Sunday, September 4, is the first Sunday of the month, and so we change our focus from gathering together to going out to serve in our community. This Sunday, we will do a park cleanup day, roaming the playground, trails, and parking lot with garbage bags in hand.
We’ll meet at Balcones Community Park (Duval and Amherst) at 9:30am. The park is nicely shaded, but the earlier start should help us beat the heat as well. We’ll fill our trash bags until around 11am before having lunch together.
