This weekend, our community will be serving together with the Capitol Area Food Bank and the Wheels of Sharing Mobile Food Pantry. The Food Bank’s Mobile Food Pantries travel to fill geographic and service gaps in emergency food assistance.
We will help unload trucks and distribute food to clients. They ask that all participants arrive on time and stay for the entire shift. Volunteer orientation and training will take place at the beginning of our shift.
We are helping out this Saturday, November 5, from 9:30am-noon at the Apache Shores Homeowner’s Association, 14919 General Williamson Drive Austin, TX 78734 (map). We need to give them an accurate count, so please let me know at your earliest convenience if you will be able to join us on Saturday.
